There’s been a lot of talk lately on the interwebs about how horrible the official World Cup song (or songs, there’re more than one) is (or are), and how much this upcoming summer will suck because we’ll be force-fed that lame music multiple times a day.
Well, I’m gonna go ahead and suggest this one here as the 2014 alternative summer hit. The song is not about soccer, but its producer comes from Brazil (and Brazil = soccer) and the theme is jiggly butts (and jiggly butts = Brazil = soccer).
Rio de Janeiro’s Lucio K first gained global recognition thanks to his pop music mash-ups before he relocated to the Bay Area, California a couple of years ago. This is the first track he’s produced and released in a while that’s not a remix or a mash-up– it combines elements of house, samba, and moombahton and it’s 100% irresistible.
I guarantee that if you throw this on your DJ set anytime this summer, you’ll get way more butts on the dance-floor than with that Pitbull/JLo garbage.
