With music, there will be peace. Well, at least that’s many artists have hoped for throughout the years. The latest artist is Perla Marola, daughter of the legendary merengue/bolero artist Sergio Vargas.

La Dominicana Marola, most likely named after the song by Luis Dias made famous by her father, teamed up with Haitian artist Anthony “Aton” Louis-Jeune at the Ezel studio in Santo Domingo. There, they put together this beautiful summer tune about “buenas vibras” between the segregated island of Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

We bet Papa Marola is proud of his little pearl.
