Last night’s BET Awards were filled with star-studded tributes to Prince, including appearances by Erykah Badu, Bilal, Stevie Wonder, Janelle Monae, and many more. In what was perhaps the most lit tribute of them all, longtime friend and collaborator Sheila E. closed out the ceremony with an extravagant medley of The Purple One’s hits. When she wasn’t banging it out or shredding on a rhinestone purple guitar, Sheila E. pranced around stage barefoot and in a white coat. Everyone was too hype not to sing along.
