This is not a drill: Rosalía is coming back with more new music soon! On Sept. 23, the Spanish superstar announced her upcoming single “OMEGA” featuring Madrid-based songwriter and producer Ralphie Choo. “OMEGA” will be released on Sept. 25.

At the end of the video, you hear rhythmic keys playing. The video’s end also reveals that the song will be out on Sept. 25 at 12 a.m. CET.
On her WhatsApp channel, Rosalía posted the same video announcement and said it will coincide with her birthday. She also wrote in Spanish: “[the song] officially inaugurates what we know as Libra Season ♎️♎️♎️♎️♎️ ehheheheheheh.” Yesterday (Sept. 22), she also shared a voice note singing what appears to be part of the upcoming song.
“OMEGA” follows the singer’s collaboration “New Woman” with BLACKPINK member and soloist Lisa. “New Woman” was co-written by Swedish singer Tove Lo and produced by pop producers Max Martin and Ilya. The cinematic music video for “New Woman,” directed by Dave Meyers, was met with praise by the artists’ fans. To date, the video has garnered over 82 million views.
Although there’s no word on a music video or album release date, fans are excited about “OMEGA.” An X user wrote: Rosalia’s Omega with Ralphie Choo I can’t believe it 😭. They just got 2 of my favorite artists together, the hype is through the roof.” Other eagle-eyed fans are speculating that El Guincho could be a part of the collaboration: “OMG, this sounds very similar to the Omega teaser. Will it be part of the song? 🫢.”
Previous to “New Woman,” Rosalia released a collaboration with Björk called “Oral.” Before that, she released “TUYA” and her RR EP with her then-fiancé Rauw Alejandro. She also published “LLYLM,” following her experimental album MOTOMAMI, released in 2022.
