We’ve been seeing these guys from Coyoacán around the Web and with a track title like “My First College Lesbian Lover,” we were a little more than curious. What we got from RunGoldenBoys was a moody and assertive instrumental, reminiscent of Battles, Explosions in the Sky, and Puerto Rico’s tach.dé. The song comes from the foursome’s upcoming debut EP Entropía (Horizonte Records, February/March tentative) and is a bit dark, but highly entertaining. I don’t really hear the whole lesbian theme, but I don’t really care either.
