We heart María Magdalena’s debut, “Cada Vez Más Cerca,” and her second single confirms she’s not just a one-hit wonder. “Niñas Hardcore” (great title) has a more tropical overlay than “CVMC” and it’s just as catchy. The video, directed by Matías Rojas, explores the world of Lady Spandex Fight Club. Dressed in their best American Apparel garb, each would-be niña hardcore eggs on the brawl between two seriously pissed-off chicks, Paula and Dindi Jane. They all get name checked in the end, but I think Princess Jesus is by far my favorite.
