In Mentira Mentira’s 2012 (free) album, No Way Out, the title track takes a deep breath in a different direction. Less of a horrific fog of torture, “No Way Out” moves more toward malaise than mutilation. In the song’s video, directed by Gabriel Rey himself, we get a multiple exposure of lights, guitars, and a pretty serious goatee. This is a good opportunity to get acquainted with said goatee, I mean, with Mentira Mentira, if you haven’t already. You should also watch this if you’re into having night terrors for the rest of your life.
