When you put on a record called LSDIOS, you have to be prepared for what you’re getting into. Mexican duo System Error put a lot of effort into taking you on a bizarre trip through the music of their first EP, and now they’re expanding their concept to the visual arena.

Clocking over the 16-minute mark, the brand new video for the LSDIOS opener “Berlin” is a next-level psychedelic experience which actually feels like a short film. Its spot-on editing develops seamlessly as the song unravels, and features awesome video experiments with effects, like the chroma key window to a man’s mind, or the Technicolor version of a twisting effect similar to the one used on Bam Bam’s “Extraña Coincidencia” music video.

We get to follow a mystic dude and three friends as they travel through states of consciousness, as visual textures (nature images, kaleidoscopic images…) clash with sonic textures (washes of white noise, new age synths, simple beats). Just go ahead and submerge yourself in this world of weirdness, and experience the journey the guys from System Error, alongside Sonido Inconsciente y Laboratorio de Producción, have in store for you.
