Earlier this year, Madrilenian rockers Cosmen Adelaida released their latest album, La Foto Fantasma (2014, El Genio Equivocado). Standout track “Becerro de Oro” is a nervous, rapid-fire krautrock number, and now it got the video treatment. Directed by David Iñurrieta, the music video is a space odyssey, where we can find the band performing the song and praising the track title’s golden calf.
Here, post-production is the real star, packing the video with special effects which give the video a retro-futuristic feel. Filled with saturated colors, warped images, geometric shapes, and the impossible space palm trees, the video is one little weird journey. And drummer Elisa looks amazing headbanging with her big red hair. Check it out below.
