Sci-fi funksters Zechs Marquise just released their first video for their latest album, Getting Paid. The video, directed by The 90s, is a drugged-out trip through the band’s hometown of El Paso, TX. It starts with Teri Gender Bender of Le Butcherettes on the phone making a drug deal with “gringito.” We later find out that gringito is actually Matt Embree of the now-defunct RX Bandits who smokes an Everlasting Beacon of Light and, naturally, trips the hell out. The song itself is so sick naturally taking a spot on our 25 Best Tracks of 2011.
