The Color Brown (a.k.a. Rubén Borrero) couldn’t have chosen a better metaphor for his debut album. Vuelo 395, his track debut, takes its name from flight 395 on American Airlines. The plane takes a direct, non-stop route from San Juan to Chicago. This Boricua has arrived and we’re all the better for it.

Brown recorded the album at HDN Music Studios in Logan Square with the aid of producer Lil’ Erizo. The duo’s work paints a nostalgic picture of Puerto Rico while Brown reflects on his life in the windy city.
