Chilean duo Marineros are gearing up for their debut album, and they’ve just released their fourth single “Secretos.” There are zero details about the LP so far, but it’s expected to drop through Unión del Sur, and Christian Heyne is once again producing.
“Secretos” is very much in line with what we’ve heard so far from the girls, but this time they dip their toes into a grittier rock sound than the rest of their repertoire. Soledad Puentes‘ guitars have always been a highlight of the band’s music, and now she has added distortion to the recipe, with great results. Constanza Espina’s voice keep everything catchy and poppy, and the combination of all these elements ends up sounding hard-hitting but intimate, like a juicy secret.
