Marineros Bare It All in the Passionate and Fleshy Video for “Secretos”

Almost three months ago, we shared “Secretos,” the rocking fourth single from Chilean duo Marineros off their still-unannounced debut album produced by Christian Heyne, but its accompanying music video wasn’t released until now. Directed by Álvaro Puentes, the video is an intimate NSFW affair, full of close-up shots of people feeling sexy. The song lyrics appear in English as subtitles, but are also pressed and written on people’s skin, in addition to references to Susan Sontag, Bonnie “Prince” Billy, weed, Charlie Brown, and more. The scenes become increasingly intense as the song goes on: caresses become squeezes and clothes come off, with footage of the Marineros girls performing the song. It’s intimately sexy, an apt visual companion to a song that is itself about secrets.
