Argentine Tumblr princess Ms Nina first emerged from the depths of the Internet as a reggaetonera back in August, when she dropped “Chupa Chupa.” The track was indulgent and delicious enough, never mind the jiggling sun-tanned culos found on the album artwork. Now the track has visuals to boot.
As a net artist, Ms Nina always tipped her hat to 90s World Wide Web nostalgia – think Windows 98 graphics, glittery Blingee text, and neon collages of weed leaves. But in live action, Ms Nina’s brand of reggaeton 2.0 zooms into hyper speed. The Chico Sonido-directed video finds the princess and her royal court strutting down the streets of Madrid in mesh dresses, furry coats, gold hoops, and Tommy gear that would make Aaliyah proud. CGI lightning and flame-filled backdrops set this already fire track ablaze. Don’t sleep on the gospel of Nina.
