Enchufada label chief Branko releases his latest project Atlas on September 4. The lead single is a scintillating, Sade-meets-Biggie mid-tempo zouk bass groove titled “Let Me Go.” Branko’s collaborator on the track is none other than Mr. Carmack, the underground beatmaker who loves his bass-friendly EDM with a side of classic rap vibes tossed into the mix. Vocals are provided by South African newcomer Nonku Phiri, whose execution is a perfect mix of soul and seduction. It’s a top tier production. If this is a taste of what’s the come, then we can’t wait for Branko’s first solo album to finally arrive this fall.
