Branko Showcases His Globetrotting Journey to Record ‘Atlas’ in the Video for “On Top”

The video for Branko‘s single “On Top” chronicles the globe-trotting journey he took to finish his album Atlas in a more condensed format than his just-released Red Bull video series. Iconic images of the five international cities – as well as exclusive footage of the recording session for the track itself – all make the cut. Thus, if you want to see South African kwaito stars The Ruffest and a children’s choir croon or images of Branko’s travels set to a thumping African bass groove, this video is more than ideal. Most important to the video is the fact that the track’s hook discusses the solo journey of an artist attempting to make it “on top,” mirroring Branko’s quests. If you’re looking to see Branko drop this track live, do note that Remezcla is giving away a meet-and-greet at his September 30 show in NYC featuring Peruvian tunesmiths Dengue Dengue Dengue and NYC’s own Que Bajo?! crew.
