We’re calling it now: this summer will be the summer of Fuego. Hot on the heels of his “Un Baile” Drake flip, the singer has finally dropped the“35 Pa Las 12” remix featuring J Balvin that we’ve been anxiously anticipating ever since Balvin started teasing it on Snapchat a couple of months ago. The original track was already a standout from January’s Fireboy Forever 2and it’s a natural fit for Balvin’s brand of loverboy reggaeton romantico. Last night, industry insiders were treated to a performance of the remix at a showcase during the Billboard’s Latin Music Conference that further convinced us these two need to team up on a full Watch the Throne style project.

In his added verse, Medellin’s own croons about taking his girl to the Maldives dressed to the nines – and it wouldn’t be Balvin without a shoutout to his favorite designers, including denim brand fourtwofour.

Fuego is already getting some radio play in the 305, but this just might be the track to get him on the radar nationwide.

If “Hookah, Henny y Rosé” isn’t the summer motto, I don’t know what is.

UPDATE 8:53pm: J Balvin and Fuego also performed the track at the Billboard Latin Music Awards, and collabed on a performance of “Ginza” as well. Peep a clip below:
