Puerto Rican superstar Daddy Yankee just released a new track entitled “This Is Not A Love Song,” produced by The Cataracs. Daddy Yankee flexes his bilingual skills by rapping in English, and doesn’t sound half bad doing it. Joined by newcomer singer,Duncan (maybe the same as Duncan Morley?), the track jumps back and forth between his crooning vocals and Daddy Yankee’s confident bars over a really hot, not overdone club track.
The Cataracs have produced for artists like Dev (of “Like A G6″ fame with The Far East Movement), Selena Gomez, 50 Cent, Sean Paul, and Enrique Iglesias. Their radio ready hip hop and club tracks are a good step in the right direction for Daddy Yankee, who is transforming from a reggaeton mogul to a global celebrity.
