I never find anything except expired milk in my fridge, but Miguel has a sexy house party inside his in his latest video for “waves.” The track, a single off Miguel’s excellent Wildheart released earlier this year, follows the stylistic choices of its predecessors (“…goingtohell,” “Coffee”), with psychedelic cinematography and a shadowy and warm color palette.
The video opens with Miguel approaching the Narnia fridge as “destinado a morir” plays, before finding his way into a turn up of epic proportions. In between mingling with J. Cole and Wale (both make cameos), taking shots, and performing on stage, Miguel finds time to fantasize about an underwater threesome.
This is just the latest heat from the Wildheart era; Miguel dropped a “re-lit” version of “Simple Things” featuring Chris Brown and Future last week.
