Our favorite twins Nina Sky celebrate the moment when your mundane day job ends and the turn up can begin in TroyBoi’s new clip for “Afterhours.”
Shot in New York, the video follows TroyBoi and Natalie and Nicole Albino as they encounter various hardworking people (retail employees, food truck chefs, line cooks) at the end of their shifts. The killer, twangy drop on the Diplo-assisted track marks the instant when they transform into pop-locking, break-dancing party animals.
London-based TroyBoi has released a spate of well-received trap stylings this year via Mad Decent and Elysian Records, and recently performed at the Mad Decent Boat Party. Nina Sky, meanwhile, will be ringing in the New Year at Las Vegas’ LAX Nightclub and have new music on the way in early 2016.
