A crunchy bassline is the prelude to the three-minute fuzzed-out indie rock goodness of a song that is Las Robertas’ “The Feel.” Just last year, the Costa Rican band released Better Days, their sophomore album, and now they’re back with this non-album single, which sounds considerably thicker and harder than their previous output. The guitars and bass are distorted, the vocals are drenched in reverb to the point of becoming unintelligible, and the vocal melodies are sweet and catchy.
Las Robertas are heading out to Austin Psych Fest’s Levitation this May 9th, and then down to Mexico City for Festival Marvin on May 16th.
