She’s a Tease Portray One Woman’s Journey of Self-Discovery in the Video for “Ven a Soñar”

As a single from their upcoming album II,  Mexican band She’s a Tease has shared “Ven a Soñar. Half trip-hop and half noise pop, with lyrics in Spanish and English, “Ven a Soñar” is the kind of song you can call cinematic, thanks to its multi-layered atmosphere. Now the song has a video to match this potential.

According to an interview with Noisey, the idea for the video emerged as a collaboration between the band and their photographer Carlos Enderle. The concept was then handed to director Tino de la Huerta, who’s known for the kind of haunting, mysterious vibes the video radiates. The clip may be too direct in its self-encounter metaphor, but the trigger of this self-exploration is well-constructed, and it’s a good reason to watch until the very end.
