With the line “I’m the king of uptown, wearing chancletas,” Bodega BAMZ states his intentions to claim a top spot in the hip-hop game, and he’s taking his Dominican pride with him. The dream is even closer now that the hustler signed with Duck Down Music with producer V-Don in his corner.
In his video for “El-Rey,” the rapper takes us through his bodega underworld where he irons money and performs some of his favorite illicit activities, all the while flags flying high with a derelict crew.
