David Beckham is currently on a worldwide soccer tour for charity. To celebrate his 10-year anniversary as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, Becks launched 7: The David Beckham UNICEF Fund to help children around the world. After hitting up Papua New Guinea and Nepal, Beckham made his way over to Argentina.

Dressed in the country’s signature baby blue, Beckham posed in front of a mural of El Papa Francisco.  He posed for photos and excitedly talked about visiting Argentina for the first time. He also paid Lionel Messi a huge compliment after a reporter asked him if Messi or Wayne Rooney was the better player. (LOLZ)

Of course, Becks was really there to play fútbol with children from Fundación Boca Social and Parroquia Santa Madre del Pueblo, and based on pictures, it seems Beckham also couldn’t contain his excitement.

Those who were there have said Beckham was polite and that he spoke in Spanish, which is no surprise since he played with Real Madrid from 2003 to 2007.

The Independent reports that his worldwide trip is being shot for a BBC documentary.
