Cord-cutters from Spain are crying foul after a court order asked live sport streaming site Rojadirecta.me to cease streaming of Spanish League fútbol matches. Madrid’s 11th Comercial Court issued the order at the request of media giants Mediapro and Gol TV. In seven days, Rojadirecta must stop streaming of any live or recorded Spanish Fútbol League matches or face a ban by Spanish Internet Service Providers.
The brains behind RojaDirecta sent over letters to Spanish media defending the legitimacy of the site and its content, and announcing their intention to fight tooth and nail until the end.
