Listen to Zizek Collective's new EP and help the cause

Three years ago Zizek Collective broke into the Latin electronic music scene exposing the avant-garde of Argentina’s nü-cumbia to the rest of the world. The result: noted DJs, producers, and taste makers from London to Nueva York went crazy for it. A whole new global scene of digitally-rendered tropical music grew from this phenomenon, turning formerly embarrassing, low-brow popular Latin music into the new hipster cool.

Currently four of Zizek’s founding artists are touring Europe and on July 23rd they’ll be crossing the pond to play Canada and the U.S. Headlining the short tour is Tremor, stretching the boundaries of digital Latin folk with a live band. Right behind him DJ/producers Chancha Via Circuito and El Remolón, whose new EP Pangeático will be released on July 20th (pero you can stream it below!). As usual, Zizek mastermind and ZZK Records CEO El G will also be spinning his exclusive selection of new and unreleased tracks, plus Zizek classics representing the rest of the label’s roster.

In the meantime, ZZK Records plans to release an ambitious video project called ZZK TV, an online video project designed to share Zizek’s sound worldwide. But to do so they’re asking fans and supporters for donations and giving away gifts to all pledgers. Have you ever wished El G would come to your house and DJ for your tía’s birthday?

Well then reach deep in your pockets and support Zizek (as of right now it’s only 37% funded). Watch below for their teaser promo.
