Anuel AA is going old school with his version of the Reebok Pump. The rapper has teamed up with the shoe brand to design the Anuel AA x Reebok Pump Omni Zone II.

“#RealHastaLaMuerte,” Anuel posted on social media, which is the name of his 2018 debut album. He also posted a series of photos of himself wearing and holding his new kicks along with the hashtag.

The high-top consists of red and black leather with black laces, a white sole, and white lettering for the words “Reebok” and “Anuel,” which are on opposite sides of the shoe. Anuel’s name is also printed on both heels.

Inside the shoe, fans can find the words “Real Hasta La Muerte” on the red insole in white lettering. The famous “pump” hasn’t lost its real estate over the last 33 years. It’s still on the tongue of the shoe, where athletes have easy access to inflate their sneakers. Anuel’s pump is red with “The Pump” in black lettering.

Anuel also introduced a low-top version of the sneaker that looks like the basketball sneaker but without the pump. Instead, the Reebok name and logo are on the low-top shoe’s tongue.

The Reebok Pump first hit the U.S. market on November 24, 1989. NBA legend Dominique Wilkins was the first celebrity featured wearing the groundbreaking shoe when he introduced it to the public in a TV commercial. In the past, other athletes and celebrities partnered with Reebok on their own shoe line, including 50 Cent, Shaquille O’Neal, Allen Iverson, Jay Z, Alicia Keys, and Cardi B.

The Anuel AA x Reebok Pump, Omni Zone II, will be available on August 26, 2022, exclusively at Foot Locker and Champs Sports. The retail price is $170.
