Rapper Bad Bunny continues to add to his sneaker collabs with Adidas. His newest shoe is his own version of the brand’s Response CL.

The Bad Bunny x Adidas Response CL gives the old-school shoe a new look. Adidas reintroduced the Response CL in 2020. This makes Bunny the first major celebrity to modify the silhouette.

El Conejo Malo’s version of the Response CL is a white and off-white sneaker with silver details. Parts of the shoe include design elements that look like it is dripping or melting. The entire shoe has a vintage look to it, which is probably why many outlets are referring to it as a “dad shoe.”

Bunny kept busy last year with Adidas. His first collaboration with the shoe brand came in March when he released “The First Café,” a unique take on the Originals Forum Buckle Low sneaker, which sold out in minutes. He previewed the sneakers in a music video months prior.

Next, Bunny announced a pair of “Easter Egg” shoes from Adidas. The kicks were made of pink leather and pink suede and featured a signature strap and a black buckle. Then, Bunny showed off his ZX 8000 “Ice Cream,” which also featured the “melting” design. Unlike the Response CL, the ZX 8000 were colorful – pink, blue, purple and orange hues across the sneaker. Bunny also released a special edition of the “Forum Sneaker” collection called “Bad Bunny Forum-Back to School Shoes.” Last month, Bunny unveiled the next addition to his Forum Buckle Low collab with Adidas.

A release date for the Response CL sneakers is not known yet, but the shoe will reportedly run for $175. If Bunny keeps going at this rate, sneakerheads will need a closet just for his Adidas footwear.
