Whether it’s through his groundbreaking music or fashion sensibility, Bad Bunny has always been one to express himself through his artistic choices.

The rapper is doing just that (again) with his latest photoshoot. French fashion brand Jacquemus released a new campaign, Le Splash, with El Conejo Malo in a series of outfits, including at least one from its womenswear collection.

In the first photo posted by Jacquemus on its Instagram page, Bad Bunny continues breaking gender norms by wearing a short, pink dress with baby blue heels. Comfortable in his own masculinity, he shows off his legs (we’re jealous) in the dress and even flexes his biceps for the camera.

Although issues on sexual identity have come far in recent years, there is still plenty of pushback in Latin America over this type of gender-fluid expression. Seeing Bad Bunny wearing a dress might make some in our communities uncomfortable (machismo still has deep roots in the culture), but it feels like a step in the right direction when a popular celebrity that is beloved by all types of fans can show how open-minded he is – even during a photoshoot.

The other photos Jacquemus posted for the new campaign are just as fun. There’s an image of Bad Bunny hosing himself down near a swimming pool dressed in a loose-fitting lime green suit. There’s also a photo of him rollerblading shirtless in a pair of pink and white shorts.

And don’t forget about the photo of Bad Bunny on a jet ski wearing nothing but a pink life jacket and a pair of blue goggles. If that’s not a bold fashion statement, we don’t know what is.
