Yves Saint Laurent Beauty U.S. has announced that Barbie Ferreira, better known for her role as Kat Hernandez in the HBO hit Euphoria, will be their new U.S Ambassador. Ferreira has recently made headlines with a frank discussion of the stigmas of beauty for plus-size women, including how difficult it is for her to find clothes that allow her to express herself.
Her appointment is anchored in the premiere of the brand’s new Lash Clash Mascara, which features the biggest brush ever created in YSL labs. She’s set to be featured in both digital and media to support the launch, as well as for the Black Opium fragrance.
