Hollywood loves a good sequel and it appears that “Bennifer” part two is in the making. Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been spotted together again, this time in Montana. This is the second time that the former couple have been seen together–in front of cameras that is. Earlier this month, the pair spent time together in Los Angeles and the internet has yet to recover.
TMZ is reporting that Affleck and Lopez have been in frequent contact through email since February when Lopez was in the Dominican Republic shooting her latest movie Shotgun Wedding, and while Affleck was shooting his movie The Tender Bar. Fast forward to this past weekend when Affleck and Lopez were photographed together in Montana.
While there is no official statement from either camp, it’s a reunion that many people would love to see, and that includes Affleck’s bestie Matt Damon. He appeared on the Today Show early Tuesday morning (May 11) from Australia and said “I love them both, I hope it’s true, that would be awesome.”
Lopez and Affleck were engaged in 2002, the couple postponed their wedding set for 2003 and officially split in 2004. The pair have reportedly been friends since. Affleck was quoted in a recent InStyle cover article saying, “She has great talent, but she has also worked very hard for her success, and I’m so happy for her that she seems, at long last, to be getting the credit she deserves.” Noticeably absent from that article was Lopez’s then fiance Alex Rodriguez. Lopez and Rodriguez called off their engagement last month after four years together.
