“Havana” singer Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes, the Candian singer-songwriter best known for his hair, are very much obsessed with each other at the moment, or at the very least committed to making you believe that’s the case. Coincidentally, this impassioned love affair, or at least its very public iteration, took off after the late June release of “Señorita,” that song your friends are using as background music on their Instagram stories. Again, this is all just a coincidence and definitely not the doing of their publicists.
Last night that was made evident when Cabello, sporting a white jumpsuit in a sea of people, hilariously flailed her arms around in a subtle effort to get Mendes’s (and everyone else’s) attention at his Miami show.
Just a few hours before, the two held hands and made out on South Beach in a display of PDA a few lucky paps “caught” on camera.
Other moments that have been captured prior to this, clearly startling the pair, include dinner in West Hollywood, kissing during morning coffee run in San Francisco, and lots of holding hands.
“You say we’re just friends but friends don’t know the way you taste,” Camila sings on their song.
