Cardi B may have filed for divorce from Offset last month after three years of marriage, but after the rapper showed up at her birthday bashes in Las Vegas and Atlanta, fans were starting to speculate that the duo was back together. Many photos surfaced of the two cuddling, dancing, and kissing during the festivities. The “WAP” singer went on Instagram Live earlier this week to explain to her fans why she took her hubby back. Simply put, she missed her best friend and frankly, was horny.
“I just be starting to miss [him]…It’s hard not to talk to your best friend. And it’s really hard to have no d—,” said Cardi B said on an Instagram Live stream on Tuesday. “I know I’m not bipolar ’cause I took a test.” The rapper said to defend her flip-flopping over whether or not she wanted to be with Offset. She also revealed that she was in bed with Offset when she accidentally shared a topless pic on Instagram Stories.
The Migos rapper gave Cardi B lavish gifts for her 28th birthday including a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Birkin bag, and a customized billboard, which seem to have had the desired impact. “I do like material things,” Cardi B said. “What do you want me to do, the n— gave me a Rolls-Royce and I snub him? And I really wanted some dick for my birthday.”
The birthday girl should get what she wants! The two aren’t strangers to breaking up and reconciling—remember in 2018 when Offset jumped on stage and interrupted her while she was performing at the Rolling Loud Festival in Los Angeles to beg her to take him back. Cardi B acknowledges that the two married young and have a dysfunctional relationship. She has yet to make a public statement about whether she’s going to call off the divorce.
