Hollister, a retail brand owned by Abercrombie & Fitch, has launched a new program that will highlight the contributions of Latine creators across a variety of industries, including fashion, music, and comedy.

The initiative, “Good Vibras,” will start with 16 Latine creators, who represent six different backgrounds. Each of the creators will work with Hollister to develop content for social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

“Our customers made it clear that they not only love seeing Latinx representation within the creators we work with but also wanted more programs developed specifically for the Latinx community,” Kristin Scott, Global Brand President at Abercrombie & Fitch Co., said in a statement. “We look forward to learning directly from the Hollister Good Vibras creators about how we can ensure the Latinx community feels seen and heard by our brand all year long.”

The first class of creators includes actor Brandon Perea from Netflix’s The OA and the upcoming Jordan Peele movie NOPE; comedian Cisco Viera; and vocalists Giselle Torres and Gale, who have written songs for Selena Gomez and Christian Aguilera.

“Let’s celebrate who we are and where we are from!” Gale wrote on Instagram. “I’m so proud to be a part of @hollisterco’s Good Vibras Latinx Collective!”

For his part in the program, Perea is showing off his athletic abilities as a skater and dancer, two of his other passions aside from acting.

Viera announced his partnership with Hollister with a photo of him holding the Puerto Rico flag and wishing his fans a happy Hispanic Heritage Month (Our Heritage Month).

“I want to officially announce that I’ll be a part of Hollister’s Good Vibras Latinx collective!” he wrote on Instagram. “Always proud to represent my culture and my island everywhere I go!”

In her post announcing her collaboration with Hollister, Torres took her fans inside her kitchen to cook up one of favorite Mexican dishes.

“So thrilled and honored to be a part of the Hollister Good Vibras Latinx Collective!” she wrote.

Hollister will reveal more about the Good Vibras initiative on its Instagram series on October 14.
