Thank You James Corden, For Prank Texting Leo DiCaprio From JLo’s Phone

James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke – a segment where he invites artists to karaoke in his car for the The Late Late Show – has become so wildly successful that CBS aired a collection of his past skits at 10 p.m. ET on Tuesday night. On top of showing us all the carpool karaoke moments we already know and love – like Adele rapping along to Nicki Minaj’s “Monster” – the James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke Primetime Special gave us some Jennifer Lopez realness.

Just like Corden’s other guests, J.Lo sang along to some of her greatest hits, and even explained why she dropped a Spanish-language album. “Honestly, I think music and lyrics in Spanish are so much more beautiful and poetic,” she said.

She also revealed that people mostly call her J.Lo or Jen, that she hasn’t had her butt insured, and that she’s had five marriage proposals. The real magic happened when Corden decided to look through J.Lo’s star-studded contacts list, which inspired him to shoot off a text to Leonardo DiCaprio as J.Lo.

After some guidance (Corden wanted to start off with Hey Leo but J.Lo shot it down), he finally landed on: “Hey baby, I’m kind of feeling like I need to cut loose. Any suggestions? Let me know, J.Lo, from the block.”

They went back to karaoke singing when Leo replied, “You mean tonight, Boo Boo? Club-wise?” Unfortunately, Leo uses his social media accounts to highlight more important issues like global warming, so he hasn’t reacted on his Twitter or Facebook accounts. But at the very least, we got to see a side of him we never thought we’d see.
