Lin-Manuel Miranda Gives Trump the ‘Hamilton’ Treatment, Sings His Tweets Word for Word

The genius Lin-Manuel Miranda used musical theater as a way to humanize controversial figure Alexander Hamilton. After playing the character on Broadway in Hamilton for the better part of 2016, GQ tasked him with doing the same with Republican candidate Donald Trump. And I think it’s safe to say it can’t be done.

In a short video, Miranda explains that he hasn’t altered any of Trump’s tweets. He just added the melody. Still, it sounds like he’s in an SNL sketch. Check out the video below, and like Miranda said at the end of the clip, vote.
