The Queen of Christmas is continuing her claim for one of the most anticipated holidays of the year. Mariah Carey has announced a double dose of delight for Christmas. First, she’s dropping a new single called “Fall in Love at Christmas.” The track will drop this Friday (November 5) and features Khalid and Kirk Franklin.  In light of the giving season, she gave a listen to her new song in a post with all the artists’ baby photos.

That’s not all. Carey also teased an upcoming Christmas special with Apple TV. Carey gave her fans a sneak peek on social media with a behind-the-scenes look at the production.

Fans may remember that she released a special with Apple TV that featured Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson last year. This year, the special on will be called “Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues” and will premiere in December.

Carey is hoping that the magic will indeed continue for her. Her iconic song “All I Want for Christmas is You” is already trending again on the charts. That is partly due to her post declaring the start of the holiday season that she dropped at the stroke of midnight on November 1

As the charts have proven, this song tends to trend this time of year and is undoubtedly on repeat on most holiday station playlists. The track is from her 1994 “Merry Christmas” album. “It was popular, but it didn’t have what it has now,” Carey told EW. “I feel like people have grown up with the song, and it’s become a part of people’s lives in terms of the way they celebrate the holidays. That makes me feel really proud as someone that loves Christmas so much.”
