“Don’t ever shave your beard! EVER!” was the consensus from Latinas who took the #NoBeardFilter Challenge this week to digitally remove the facial hair of their significant other with a SnapChat filter. The results–and reactions–were hilarious.
The funniest videos uploaded to TikTok this week have been the wives and girlfriends of unsuspecting husbands and boyfriends who have no idea that the filter will expose their baby faces. Popular Latino couple Christian and Maybelline Pérez get things started when Maybelline cannot stop LOLing at a confused Christian who has no idea why she’s pointing her phone at him and wheezing.

“Babe, what are you doing?” he asks, not knowing that all his facial hair has been removed by the app. “Why are you recording me? Are we doing an Instagram post? Why are you laughing?!”
Maybelline keeps her hubby in the dark for a while longer and even tells him “Don’t ever!” which seems to upset him, but then she reveals why she was laughing so hard.
“Babe, that’s why you’re laughing?!” he says, shocked at his appearance. “I look disgusting!”
Unlike Maybelline, this next Latina wife didn’t even wait until she and her husband were alone to reveal what he looked like without facial hair. She did it in public in the middle of a restaurant.

Other Latinos didn’t need a wife or girlfriend to pull the prank on them. Some just wanted to see what they looked like without a moustache and beard. Most were not happy at the outcome.
