Plátano Shortage Causes Dominicans to Lose Their Minds, Create Hilarious Memes

The Dominican Republic, land of Plátano Power, has seen a rise in the cost of plantains. The government is trying to combat the plátano deficit caused by a drought and Hurricane Erika by importing plantains from Central America, a fellow platano-loving region.

In the meantime, Dominicans are basically (and rightfully) losing their minds, but at least some hilarious memes have come out of it.
