Music executive Raphy Pina may be behind bars, but that didn’t stop him from getting a photo and message out to his fans via Instagram.

On Thursday (June 2), someone posted Pina’s mugshot and a note on his official Instagram account for Pina Records. Pina does not have access to social media at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, where he is spending the next 41 months for being found guilty of “one count of possessing an automatic weapon and one count of possessing firearms by a person convicted of a felony.”

The mugshot features Pina standing in front of a police lineup board and holding a black sign with his birth name, height and date of birth in white letters. He is dressed in a light gray prison uniform with the serial number RAP-528 printed on it in stenciled black font.

Along with his mugshot, there is a photo of a Post-it note with the address of the detention center where Pina can receive letters. “To those who have expressed love for my family and me, I will be eternally grateful,” Pina’s message reads. “If you want to write to me and express your good wishes and/or prayers, it will be well received.”

The first day he went to prison, Pina was taken to the hospital, reportedly because his blood sugar rose. Earlier this week, his fiancée Natti Natasha talked about Pina going to prison and how her and their daughter, Vida, will move forward.

“It’s time to focus on the positive and work,” she said. “We have many blessings, we have Vida, our family, the empire we have built.”
