In April – seven months after MAC made Selena fan girls’ dreams come true with their announcement of a new line inspired by La Reina – the beauty brand finally gave us a tiny peek at the collection. Thankfully they didn’t make us wait as long for a second look. Today, MAC live streamed the full collection on Snapchat and Periscope.

The stream started by showing a 13-item collection, which includes three lipsticks, a lip gloss, and blush. Suzette Quintanilla, who worked closely with MAC to get an accurate line that represents Selena, talked about the beauty products for nearly three minutes. “Well, I’m sure you already know why I’m here, to unveil the look of the new Selena MAC collection… I just wanted kinda go over some of the colors that I feel embody my sister, Selena, and her look,” she said.
Como La Flor, which is the exact same signature red Selena wore on stage, is the first item Suzette showed off. (It’s also the first item MAC teased back in April.) Dreaming of You is a deeper red that Suzette actually sported in the video. An online only product, Bidi Bidi Bom Bom, is a pink-hued lipgloss. Though there’s still five months until the October release, it’s nice to know just what we’re saving up all our money for.
