Lele Pons and Guaynaa tied the knot this past Saturday (March 4) in Miami. Along with her immediate family and Latine celebrities like Anitta, Sebastian Yatra, Natti Natasha, Becky G, and Camila Cabello in attendance, the internet was happy to see Pons’ Tio Chayanne gushing over the blushing bride.
There were plenty of people online who still didn’t know Pons and Chayanne were related.
If you didn’t know about the Chayanne-Pons link, we’ll get you caught up: Chayanne is Pons’ uncle by marriage. Pons’ mother is the sister of Chayanne’s wife, Marilisa Maronesse, who was also at the wedding.
Pons posted a TikTok video of Chayanne and Maronesse reacting to seeing her in her wedding dress for the first time before the wedding ceremony. The couple has their eyes closed at the start of the video. Then, they open them in excitement to see Pons standing in front of them in her white gown. The clip was making its rounds online this past weekend and had amassed over 16 million views by Sunday night (March 5). Pons and Guaynaa’s song “Abajito” played over the video.
“TIO Y TIA, love you/los amo!!,” Pons captioned the video.
Another video of Pons and Chayanne dancing at the wedding reception was also circulating online. In the video, uncle and niece sway back and forth and Chayanne even spins her as other guests look on.
Then, there is a video of him taking the dance floor with a group of guests and having fun doing it.
The dance floor also served as a stage for Chayanne to sing along to the music. Someone get that man a microphone.
