Maluma surprised one of his fans this past week with a big gift while in his home country of Colombia.

His fan, a young boy named Bastian who is battling cancer, broke down in tears when he realized that Maluma was giving him and his family a new house.

“Dreams come true,” Maluma wrote in Spanish. “Welcome to your new home, Bastian!!”

In a video posted to Maluma’s Instagram page, the singer is seen taking Bastian inside a new home under the guise that Bastian is there just to see a project Maluma is working on. After a quick tour of the home, Maluma then gives Bastian a note to read.

“Bastian, since I met you, I told you that dreams do come true,” Bastian read. Then, Bastian and his mother started crying when Bastian realized Maluma bought a house for him and his family.

Maluma’s followers and some of his fellow musicians commented on how special of a moment it was to see Bastian overcome with emotion in receiving such a wonderful gift. Fellow Colombian singer Mike Bahía wrote, “What the heck is this! How great! Enormous!!!” Guitarist Juan David Huertas Clavijo from the band Piso 21 wrote, “That’s why it rains blessings in your life because you are a channel to bless others. That’s how it has to be.”

Later in the video, Bastian adds: “I am going to say a few words. Fight for your dreams. Dreams come true. Don’t stop fighting. They take time, but they arrive.”
