There’s nothing better than seeing your friends win. Last Saturday, the homies lontaim at Que Bajo?! delivered the most epic RBMA event yet with Barrioteca, a tropical takeover of Verboten that was so lit the club was still full at 6am. Everything – from the foliage hanging from the ceiling, to the line-up repping spectrums of Latinidad, to the dope visuals – signaled a new level of nightlife accomplishment for residents Geko Jones and Uproot Andy, and we couldn’t be prouder. It’s been great to see the party evolve from the small 2008 gatherings at the now-defunct Rose Live to the full-fledged, globe-trotting raves we always knew they had the potential to become.
