Unless you’ve been living under a rock, chances are you’ve heard Guaynaa’s hard-hitting, infectious, and tremendously raunchy contender for song of the summer, “Rebota.”

The 26-year-old reggaetonero from Caguas visited New York over the weekend to perform at the 116th Street Festival, and to celebrate Puerto Rican Day parade while reveling in all things Bori. Ahead of his activity-filled weekend, we took Guaynaa to Avenue of Puerto Rico in Bushwick to find out what el pueblo thought about “Rebota’s” lyrics and overall vibe.

After blessing some slices of pizza with champagne at the Remezcla offices upon learning “Rebota” was played at a baptism, Guaynaa took to the streets to ask the people if they’ve heard his anthem.
