All the Fly Outfits We Saw at NYC’s First Panorama Festival

As most New Yorkers headed to the beach to fight off near triple-digit temperatures this past weekend, others decided to turn up at the first edition of Panorama Festival. The brains behind Coachella, who are newcomers to the NYC festival scene, assembled a stellar lineup featuring LCD Soundsystem, Major Lazer, Sia, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Blood Orange, Kendrick Lamar, and more. With other new festivals competing to get our hard-earned cash, we’re wondering what Panorama has in store for next year’s edition. Perhaps a Remezcla-curated Perreo stage?

In between sets, festival attendees wandered inside some of the air-conditioned technology tents to get their hands on some of the cool gadgets that we can’t afford. The standout offering was Despacio, a collaboration between LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy, David and Stephen Dewaele from 2manydjs, and John Kletta. Audiophiles were treated to a 50,000-watt finely tuned dance floor and a disco-inspired soundtrack selected by its creators.

When we weren’t drinking, eating, dancing, or singing, our staff was out and about on the festival grounds, looking for the flyest outfits. One thing is clear: festivalgoers never lose their sense of style, even when they have to endure long hours of extreme heat.
