Nail art is arguably the biggest and most obvious piece of body art someone can wear. Over the years, nails have come to represent moods, vibes, personalities, and so much more. Getting a new set of nails is something that people use to make a statement and the representation of nail art in the media keeps growing, just ask Claws and Euphoria.

Enter Natalie Minerva, a nail artist in Los Angeles. As a fan of Euphoria, Minerva felt like it was lacking some good nail art. Fortunately, Alexa Demie, who plays Maddy on the show, saw Minerva when getting her nails done and the two hit it off.

“I told her how I felt about [putting nail art on the show], and she was like, ‘Totally, you’re so right,’” Minerva recalls to Allure Magazine.

Shortly after, Demie spoke with the show producers about the idea of adding nail art and the rest is Euphoria history. Minerva gives all of the credit to Demie for taking the initiative to bring it up with the show producers.

A look through Minerva’s Instagram page shows incredibly beguiling nail looks that you’ll definitely want to try. She has even painted nails for the stars, including Demi Lovato.

Fans were excited to see the characters in the show start rocking significant nail art. The nail art was such a success that fans have started to recreate their favorite looks all over social media. A quick search of #euphorianails shows thousands of posts highlighting fans’ recreations of the iconic nail looks.
