Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose (West Side Story) and actors Selena Gomez (Only Murders in the Building) and Diego Luna (Andor) have been announced as three of the presenters for the 74th annual Primetime Emmy Awards on Monday (September 12).

Gomez is nominated this year as a co-executive producer for Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building alongside a team of producers that includes her co-stars Steven Martin and Martin Short. Many people were disappointed that Gomez didn’t receive the first Emmy nomination of her career for her performance on the show, including Martin.

“We’re dismayed that Selena was not nominated because she’s so crucial to our performances, really,” he told the New York Times.

Only Murders was nominated for 17 Emmys this year, tying Hacks for the fourth most of any TV series. During the Creative Arts Emmy Awards this past weekend, the series won three Emmys for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series (Nathan Lane), Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Program (Half-Hour), and Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour).

It can still win more awards on Monday for its nominations for Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series and two nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series (Steven Martin and Martin Short) and Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series.

This past weekend, DeBose was able to celebrate her AppleTV+ series Schmigadoon! for its win at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics award went to Cinco Paul. “So happy for you, boss!” DeBose tweeted.

Luna will have to wait until next year to see if his upcoming Star Wars series Andor lands any Emmy nods. It premieres on Disney+ on September 21.

The 74th annual Primetime Emmy Awards ceremony will air live on NBC on September 12 at 8 p.m. ET.
