Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias has hit a home run. According to Deadline, the star has become the first-ever comedian to sell out Dodger Stadium in the 60-year history of the venue.

Iglesias will take the stage May 6 to record Fluffy on the Field, his third Netflix special, which is set to premiere later this year. Dodger Stadium is the largest Major League Baseball (MLB) stadium in the country. It can seat 56,000 people. The number of seats that are available for Iglesias’ show is approximately 45,000.

“From growing up watching my favorite players at Dodger Stadium, to being the first comedian to perform and sell-out Dodger Stadium, I am humbled, honored and grateful for the love shown to me from the fans and city of Los Angeles,” Iglesias said in a statement.

Since the first show was sold out, Iglesias decided to add a second show the following day, May 7. The second show, according to Deadline, will be a more “intimate experience” with tickets only available for seating on the field.

Iglesias’ first Netflix special I’m Sorry For What I Said While I Was Hungry was released in 2016. That one was followed by One Show Fits All in 2019. Fluffy on the Field will be the comedian’s seventh comedy special of his career.

Along with his upcoming special, Iglesias’ relationship with Netflix continues to grow. His new Netflix show is called Hungry about a group of friends in a food-issues group who help each other navigate their lives. Iglesias starred in the sitcom Mr. Iglesias for two seasons and lent his voice for the animated miniseries Maya and the Three.
