It looks like producer Ben Affleck has cast his wife, Jennifer Lopez, in his next movie, Unstoppable. The film will be made under Artists Equity, a production company run by him and fellow Oscar winner Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting).

Unstoppable will be the second film under the Artists Equity banner. The first is the biographical sports drama, Air, about the origin of NBA legend Michael Jordan’s signature shoe brand. It will premiere in theaters on April 5, 2023.

According to Deadline, Unstoppable is the true story of Anthony Robles, an All-American wrestler who won a national championship as a student at Arizona State despite being born with only one leg. The film will be adapted from Robles’ 2012 memoir, Unstoppable: From Underdog to Undefeated: How I Became a Champion. It will be directed by Oscar-winning editor William Goldenberg (Argo).

Robles began wrestling when he was in the eighth grade. During his junior and senior years at Mesa High School in Mesa, Arizona, he went undefeated, 96-0. He won a national championship as a senior. At Arizona State, he was named an All-American during his sophomore, junior, and senior years. As a senior in 2011, he went undefeated, 36-0, and won a college national championship, beating the defending national champion, Matt McDonough.

Today, Robles is a motivational speaker and wrestling commentator. He is also the founder of The Robles Unstoppable Foundation, which helps underserved high school athletes seek out funds to cover their academic and athletic ventures.

This year, Jennifer Lopez was seen in the Amazon Studios action rom-com Shotgun Wedding. Her next film is The Mother where she will play an assassin who comes out of hiding to protect her estranged daughter.
